Meet the Founder: Shreejana Bhatta

Rooted Legacy Care was founded by Shreejana Bhatta, an experienced postpartum doula and newborn care specialist with more than five years of hands-on experience supporting families through overnight newborn care and postpartum recovery.

Shreejana understands that the first weeks home can be beautiful, emotional, and exhausting all at once. Parents need more than advice. They need rest, reassurance, and someone experienced enough to help the night feel less overwhelming.

Her work is rooted in calm presence, practical support, emotional steadiness, and deep respect for each family’s home, culture, preferences, and parenting style.

Rooted Legacy Care grew from that foundation: the belief that families deserve private, professional, deeply thoughtful care during the earliest weeks at home.

Liability Insurance

Every caregiver on our team is expected to carry professional liability insurance, ensuring comprehensive protection and peace of mind for the families we serve.

Background Checks

Safety is non-negotiable. All caregivers undergo a rigorous review process, including thorough background checks, before entering any family's home.

NDA Requirements

We honor the privacy of your private residence. All team members are required to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) to protect your family's confidentiality.

Caregivers are carefully reviewed, background checked, expected to carry liability insurance, required to sign an NDA, maintain current First Aid and CPR certification, and renew required training every two years.
